J W Timber have always supplied Timber and Timber based products from reliable sources.  Now that we have also attained "Chain of Custody" certification, we can offer our customers the added reassurance by independent auditors that the wood we deliver is from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is a global, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification™ (PEFC™) is the world's largest forest certification organisation, dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management.  Details of both can be found extensively on the internet.
